CLEAN AND GREEN is one of the 4 fundamental areas of the BID Business Plan and has clear goals/objectives set-out within it – see page 14 in the link. One of these goals, is to ‘undertake an annual deep clean which is in addition to the cleaning which is already delivered by Elmbridge Borough Council’. So during the week commencing the 15th May 2023, our selected contractor completed a deep clean of the town centre BID Zone – Bridge Street, Church Street, Hepworth Way, High Street and New Zealand Avenue.

This project has been budgeted for and funded by the last financial years BID Levy (2-22-23) and therefore is NOT taking public money from potholes, funding for schools, health or public services.  I hope everyone living in, working in or visiting Walton will see and enjoy the benefits of the project and see that the BID is delivering against it’s business plan ‘to-do list’ and actively working to make Walton a better place to Live, Work and Enjoy.
